Almost time!

Getting the last of the planning done... Packing is all layed out in the spare bedroom. The bike's ready to go & so am I.

Here's a photo of us relaxing.. threw some steaks on the grill, talked about routes & mileage. We'll probably hit 700-800 miles a day for the first few days... We have a 3 day ride to get to Calgary with the route we're taking. Due north from Dallas to Winnipeg, then across Canada to Calgary, then we turn north to the Alaska Highway. Not much in the way of scenery for those first 3 days... wheat fields, canola fields, & flat, flat, flat.
